Who is Phi Mu Alpha for?
Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is for all musicians, regardless of instrument. There are many brothers who are vocalists, string players, guitarists, percussionists, etc. However, you do not need to participate in an ensemble on the Lee campus to join.

Do I have to be a music major to join?
No.

Do I have to be participating in a Lee ensemble to join?
No.

How do I join Phi Mu Alpha?
The first step to becoming a brother in Phi Mu Alpha is the rush process. If you are interested in membership, you are encouraged to attend as many of our rush events as possible. The specific dates of our Rush events will be announced soon after school starts. Check the events calendar for locations and dates.

The chapter will vote on all prospective members after the last rush event. Those who are voted into the Probationary period will be notified through their Lee mail boxes by invitations for membership.

Those who receive invitations will receive more information on the probationary period, which begins sometime later.
